Do you know that NCC dates back to 1905 when Raffles institution first started it?

MY EXPERIENCE IN SPECIALISTS COURSE

Day 1

Firstly all 8 cadets met at cbss to wait for bus..

I was preparing myself in case i was alone in a platoon..

There was sure someone to be left out..

Then all (Jason,Marcus,Edmund,Kelvin,Rijwan,Chunyi,haresh and i) got on the bus

ALL set to go to amoy quee camp then later moved on to SISPEC pasir laba camp.

Reached there and i found out that i was in platoon 2 ,jason was in platoon 1

Kelvin was in platoon 3 and all three of us were in the ALPHA company.

The rest was from BRAVO company.Marcus was alone in a platoon

edmund paired up with chunyi and rijwan paired up with haresh.(pairing up of cadets was chose randomly)

Each platoon had at least 45 cadets.

Reached pasir laba camp and got into our individual platoons.

Make some new frens very few in the first day.Got to know my PC and APC.

which means Platoon commander and Assistant platoon commander

PC Aminah and APC zhi yoong.

I was put into Bunk A and there were 11 other cadets sleeping in the same bunk.

The bunk was quite comfortable compared to amoy quee's one.

Then we got to play some guns which were simulated (simpler form)computerised.

They were the metador, m2-o3 and the last one i have forgotten.

Have to wake up early as i and other cadets have to fall in at 5.30am the next day

Ohya i got caught for long fringe that is why my fringe looks weird if u have seen me.

Jialat have to cut and seriously i am a bad barber i cut my own hair until kiamcai.

Day 2

Had morning physical training and it was damn shiok!

Changed into NO.4 uniform and had IFC(individual field craft) and Trainfire revisions.

Overall was okay but was sleepy haha.

Then later on had IFC test it was okay average average.

Then after the test those finish must go into another room

I was freakin tired and slept on my bed but legs with boots were on the floor,body on bed.(Can't dirty the bed)

Damn uncomfortable but bobian.

I was halfway asleep then suddenly the Land District Commander came in i was like shocked!

One guy from catholic high and another from ahmad ibrahim sec was caught sleeping on their beds.They had their bodies totally on the bed with their boots on...and almost got out of course..

So scary...haha lucky me cos i kept my feet on the ground so i didn't get caught.

That was pretty much for the 2nd day.Let's move on shall we?

Day 3

Woke up at 4 plus again damn it man someone's alarm clock kept ringing for 10 mins freaking loud and noisy and he didn't even off it...he must be a heavy sleeper...haha

and i found the culprit on that day Zuhairi !

We had morning physical training again..haha

i pretty made alot of frens..which were Jun ming,Zuhairi,Ivan,brandon,joel,jin ming,gordon,Janus and Nassim from all different schools and many more...

Then after that went to singapore discovery centre to do like a small amazing race..

Had alot of fun haha pretty interesting too..

Clt Zheng hui was damn funny tellin his experiences for offield camp and ghost stories.

That afternoon we had Trainfire test i did ok overall but some mistakes too..

On that night we had GSK(General specialists knowledge) test.

Then we wrap it up for that night and when back to our bunks to sleep.

Day 4

Lol on that night suddenly wake up because very cold suddenly rain..

Thus we had no morning physical training.

Woohoo kinda happy can sleep more Muahaha.Bear with me gonna end the story already...

Hey i spent like more than 2 hours on this post(gusiness world record) so bear with me gonna end soon.

Then afternoon, we went for army recruitment talk and leadership talk.

It was quite interesting though i thought it was gonna be quite dull.

There was two guys whom were irritating and jason sat behind me cos not enough space.

An incident funny happened sia there was one guy sleeping and when a CLT ask 'eh are you asleep or not' two times he replied 'ya' without knowing who was talking to him but when he was awoken he looked and ya very funny his face expression la..

Last part have to clean toilets damn sian but the District commander said so,so must obey.We also cleaned our bunks even the dust have to be cleared haha.

Then after that we gotten our ranks formerly and watched the outstanding cadets get awards..

After that, fall in in our schools.

Then those who had school bus were lucky the rest had to walked back to the mrt station as there was no service or shutter bus...

Thus Chong boon cadets and the others cadets from other schools had to marched to the mrt station which was like i think 3 or 4 km but was fun la there was song too.. ahaha

Today was a great and fun day.
Chemistry, Mr.goh was same old still joking around but it never gets old.
A.maths still solving sums lucky no a.maths test paper.
But sooner or later still have to take haix..
Geography was ok la lucky next monday then hand up s.s.
Mother tongue,Ruilin was the comedian,feng zhen become feng zhuang.(correct me if i'm wrong)
Physics was ok joked around with Kuo liang and Kelvin.Tissue paper fight..
NCC was the most fun today.
We did C and C (Command and control)
Everyone was funny too long to elaborate.
After NCC,Teachers got rollerblading..
Mr Goh told Jason and i 'how he met his wife' story.Very simple and summarised.
Then went to mac with Jason.
Rasheed,Raymond and Logash came after that.
Joked around and talk like damn long.
Last part Rasheed put the mac tray into Raymond's bag.
But i not so bad.Thus,told him the tray is in his bag.
The funny part is when i told him this.
ME:Eh,still got ice cream in your small zip there.
Raymond:ChiBye,what really arh!?
ME:no la just joking you liddat also believe.
(Raymond's reaction is seriously funny)

I need a little more luck than a little bit
Nowadays i think i freakin unlucky haix..
Even though it's the start of a new year.
Both sick and ankle sprained..
Can't do much only stay at home..
And when always big events are held like sports days or x country day
The day before the event or on the day the event is held i will get external or internal injury.
I just hope that this year i will have a little more luck than a little bit.
I hope that i will do better for my studies and sports for this year's new year resolution and have more good luck.

Clean n green ! @ Marina Barrage

Met with Kelvin and Marcus at AMK station.

Went off to Marina Bay station to meet with Mr Goh.

Took a shutter bus to Marina Barrage.

Heard P.M lee was coming..

There was four other schools whom got the gold award..

We were at our school booth haiz..bored so..

Took some pictures

Oops! the 'C' ran away..

Maybe can be future salesmen!haha just kidding =)

Was kinda bored so went to walk around .

Took pictures of the things in Marina Barrage..

Haha back to my story..

Wondering when was the food coming..

Marcus was really hungry so he went to check..

But not prepared yet so no eating yet..

By own game of Opeisong.

Marcus and Kelvin had to do the speech

I was the camera man ..

So they went withMr.goh and wrote down their own speeches..

I was in the booth taking care of things..

This one girl was asking so many questions..

Some of them i answered by saying 'er...i think its like that..'

The place was so damn hot there was not even a fan..

All brought Blazers so don't waste chance to use but it was really hot..

But with short pants!!nonono!

P.M lee was giving a speech well it took really long..

Then there was a performance ..Then there was the song 'Low'

So three of us started to literally dance..Move to the beat haha =)

Then Mr goh told us that P.M lee was going to a few booth only..

So we were like 'WHAT!' but what the hey ..We would not have to say anything..

Marcus was kinda happy ..

We were doing rehearsals b4 P.M lee came haha 'fun'..

Finally P.M lee came ..

alot of news reporters, cameramen too.

P.M lee first went to NUS maths n science..

Then skip Tanjong katong sec.. and of course our sch..

Then went to st andrews sec and raffles girls sch..

Haiz.. i think P.M lee see their school name like bigshot then go so unfair..

but look on the bright side we would not have to say anything.

So we had fun again !!

DINNER TIME!

We sure ate alot sia..

Take turns to take food and drinks hehe..

Overall buffet okok la..but there is room for improvement.

Eat and eat haha chat along the way too..

Then it was time to packup..tomorrow we are still comin back..

B4 we went back we took a 'blur' photo with Adrian pang whom was the mc.

Aiya so sad .. can't see properly but if don't believe can ask Kelvin or Marcus..

Took a shutter bus to the mrt then chat..

Then Bus-ed home ..

FINALLY !!
Omg i think i really did badly for my studies..
I lost to vivian..
Today got back results ..
Disappointed in myself..why can't i do better?
First,was spring cleaning...
One girl was cleaning the classroom whom i thought would not..surprised..
Got the school book haha valen was on the cover page..
Mr koh shown us the magician revealing his tricks thingy show
Then it was recess..
After recess went back to classroom
Got back report book..
All was busy comparing results,some were happy while the others sad of course..
Gonna miss RIJWAN,CHUNBOON,RAHMAN and the other boys...
Hope they will do better in their classes..
Jason,kelvin,chun yi went to 3e1 as well.
After that went to hall for assembly
Giving awards..maths and pride and i think certificate of achievement
I got the pride award .. haiz why must give paper?
Then went off to ncc campus
Omg can't register cos need teacher officer..then how?
waited like for 45 mins b4 mr koh came..
Luckily we didn't give up yet
Team was = Rasheed,Valen,Hadri and i
we were detail 23 waited very long b4 it was our turn..
For the push ups and sit ups section
we were all given 1 min to finish each of them..
maximum for each section was 50 so over 50 is still counted as 50
scary.. alot of other cadets as well.
Raheed did 49 push ups,50 sit ups,valen did 46 push ups,50 situps
Hadri both also 50 ,i did 50 push ups 43 sit ups
Kinda disappointed in myself..
Then 1km run wa..tired then obstacle course..
I almost fell off on one of the obstacle course...
anyway we all did our best and finished..
then drank and ate
Waited for 1 hour b4 prize presentation..
scary i rly wanted to win...
For central district..
5th was woodgrove sec,4th was ytss then heart pumping..
haha we were 3rd then 2nd was monfort sec then 1st was catholic sec
Overall best was tanjong katong sec..
Thanks valen and rasheed for paying the cab fee
went back to school saw the dinosaur and cleaning girl checking out the results
saw Rijwan also ..then talk talk then went back ..
LASTLY WANT TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO MR KOH
FOR ALWAYS GIVING SUPPORT TO ME AND THE REST OF THE CLASS
YOU'RE THE BEST, MAN!

Yesterday

Haha yesterday met with marcus took train to khatib then met with 'gang'.

Walk to the yishun sports hall haha ..

Started training..Woo..sweat and pain

Blood binds, something unites ,teamwork defines..

After training, went to amk hub mac..

So sad sia i spilled my milo damn it!! ARGH!

Then went home and slept.

At night met with my mum and sis go out ..

Ate my dinner Muahaha.. then

Walk quite a distance to the SINGAPORE flyer..

165 m above sea level i think haha..

Then went to popeye chicken and biscuit..

My sis the fren work there free french fries Muahaha

After i ate alot alot alot ..

went out of the fast food restaurant ..

Stomach pain sia ..

Haha then took a cab and went home ..

Bathe and slept ..

Today

Woke up then talk to 'momo ren' haha ate breakfast..

Rush to yishun sports hall..

walao i thought i most late in the end i was the one waiting for all..

sianz...

Only Kelvin,Marcus and me so do our own way..

Nice training la ..haha

weight on the scale omg gain one kilo from yesterday..

Went to amk hub walao marcus eat until i also want to eat sia..

Kelvin was like going to die liao.. he ate alot of chilli sia..

After marcus bought shoes then we went our separate ways byebye!

6 plus played bb ahaha!!

Played for awhile before going for training.. haha

Talk to the kids haha they so small and funny .. =)

pattern and kicks kinda no mood.. =(

After that change go play bb again wa sweat like pail splash on u sia..haha

Then 10plus we all went home bb!haha
